The Mid Autumn Festival is a traditional Asian celebration for the end of the autumn harvest. People attending the festival enjoy a wonderful evening under the moonlight with the taste of mooncakes and fulfilling conversations.

Wondering where to experience such a traditional Asian festival? The Millbrae Cultural Committee (MCC) and the City of Millbrae are pleased to announce the first-ever “Mid-Autumn Festival” on September 2, 2019, Monday evening, from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, in the Broadway from Taylor to La Cruz

Celebrity Chef Martin Yan will perform his wonderful, worldwide known cooking show from 5 to 6 pm.

The Ideaband will be performing songs in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin from 6 to 8 pm at the 400 block of Broadway. Come dance to the music and walk the streets filled with local restaurant food stands, arts and crafts stations, and information booths! Bring children for a fun night in the children’s play area that will be set up at 300-400 block of Broadway.

Moreover, Millbrae City Manager Tom Williams will introduce the Neighborhood Watch Program during the event. Citizens of Millbrae can learn how to have the program in the block of their residence.

This will be a great opportunity for people to meet new friends, spend time with family, and experience the Chinese culture in a wonderful evening under the shining moon.
