Sixteen Mile House

The Sixteen Mile house enjoys a colorful history in Millbrae. The original historical building stood at Center Street on El Camino Real in Millbrae and was originally one of the 'mile houses' used as stage coach stops along El Camino Real, then the main highway connecting California's coastal missions. Demolished in 1970 after an unsuccessful attempt to save the building, the restaurant moved to its current location at 448 Broadway and now serves up some of Millbrae's finest cuisine in an upscale, comfortable atmosphere presided over by owner Peter Liu. Specializing in steak and seafood dishes, the Sixteen Mile House uses only the finest ingredients, offering delicious plated entrees with ample portions for your dining delight.
