The Millbrae Lions Club is a fun and vibrant association of men and women who work together to help make Millbrae a wonderful place to live. We are all volunteers making up a “family” of local business people, police officers, contractors, teachers, former and current members of our local government, representatives from the banking, engineering, accounting and legal professions, and retired community leaders. The Millbrae Lions Club has many important fund raising and community projects, including youth organizations such as our baseball league, our cub scouts, and our Leos club. Our mobile kitchen and service team made international news as a first responder during the 2010 San Bruno gas explosion and fire. Our club was founded in 1938, ten years before the City of Millbrae was incorporated, and we are one of the largest Lions Clubs on the San Francisco Peninsula. Our regular meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of each month, 7:30pm at the Terrace Cafe at the El Rancho Inn.
