New President/CEO Announced

We are happy to be able to introduce the new President/CEO of the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce.  After months of searching and many interviews, we know we have chosen the right person for this position.  Ed Banayat is an enthusiastic man with much Chamber experience behind him.  He was the Chief Administrative Officer and Marketing Manager for the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce.  He brings with him seven years of experience in that capacity and a knowledge of all things “Chamber”.  He has just graduated from the Chamber’s Leadership Program and will bring innovative ideas as well as adhering to our “tried and true” traditions.  We look forward to having Ed going out into the community meeting all  of you as well as promoting the Chamber to future members and the general public.

Now, let’s be sure to start the Summer off by shopping and using local businesses.  We are on our way to a new, improved Chamber of Commerce and we would like to make sure you are doing your best to participate in all our events as well as voicing your opinion on how we can make the Chamber better for you.  Your board of directors welcomes any involvement and input you may have.  You can reach any of us through the Chamber office.

We look forward to all the new changes that will be coming about with the new President/CEO.

Ron Frediani
Chairman
Millbrae Chamber of Commerce

Millbrae Overview

Adjacent to the San Francisco International Airport and located in the middle of San Mateo County, Millbrae is gently cradled in the sun-warmed hills that separate the Pacific Ocean from the San Francisco Bay. Major freeways border both its eastern and western boundaries, making Millbrae easily accessible from all parts of the Bay Area. Many hillside homes enjoy beautiful bay views. Well-cared for middle-class neighborhoods, twelve local parks and the Green Hills Country Club add to the charm of the residential community.

Millbrae's economic community is a vital mix of retail, shopping, restaurants, service businesses and hotels. For more information about Millbrae and our wonderful hotels, restaurants, shops and schools, please click on the Community tab at the top of this page.
